Our Mission
To provide a unique experience through taste and service while embracing the nature around you. Nestled in Mitzpe Ramon, surrounded by the shades of the “Makhtesh” crater, our restaurant reflects nature’s palette, blending shades of brown and green. It’s not just about eating; it’s about celebrating nature’s bounty.
Our Theme
Focused on healthy alternatives and natural organic ingredients, our menu connects with the vegan lifestyle, offering alternatives to famous non-vegan dishes. Our preferred production techniques align with fine dining; we use fresh, non-GMO, organically grown ingredients, promoting foods in their season to ensure you get the fullest benefit.
Management Profile and Bio
I am Britney Monique Moore, head chef & owner of Vegan Xpress. With 18 years of cooking experience, from small casual restaurants to major international hotels like InterContinental in Tel Aviv, my journey in food has been rich and varied. A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, I made Aliyah to Israel in 1997 and later obtained degrees in Biochemistry and hospitality & restaurant management from “Le Cordón Bleu.”
My years at “The Jerusalem Post” taught me to value customers, and my time as restaurant manager and head chef at “Ramon Suites Hotel” sharpened my skills in guest satisfaction. But it was my husband Yativyah who saw my passion and encouraged me to “stop building somebody else’s dream.” Vegan Xpress was born from love and hard work, growing from our home to a restaurant we held with pride even through the challenges of the Corona Pandemic.
Now, our vision is clear: to have our own restaurant where our goals and values align. With the support of our beloved customers, we know we’re on the right path.
